possible browser hijacked

ok when i run hijackthis this is what shows up in the log,R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =,so when i go onto mozilla to browse the web i always notice in the most visited pages that it shows web pages sidesearch.lycos.com/angel cassidy as being visited but do not know where it's coming from and one day i had a pop up that said your comp. is infected to run a scan and i just exited out of it.i've ran a virus scan with Avira and ad-aware with no luck. any ideas on what else to do would be appreciated thanks
