Ports not working & web pages slow

After getting rid of a huge infection of the worm and trojan virus with PC-Cillin, I am now having a problem with my ports not working. I can't print (USB) or plot (LPT). My camera or any other USB device can not be read. Device Manager just displays "unknown device", but none of the dection balloons come up on the desktop. It's like the computer "thinks" it's sending to the printer. I also have to wait about 30 seconds or longer for each web page to display.
I think the virus somehow screwed up my memory. I tried to reload Windows, but the computer won't let me. Is there any way to repair Windows and the memory?
