ok after i went and played an online game my norton internet security said i was attacked. heres the problem it seems the ip address is that of my router. Whats the deal?

Hello Linkin,
We don't undertsand by what have you been attacked ? there is many sorts of attack into a computer, as for exemple a firewall reacting as you are under an attempt to hijack your computer, this is nothing else than a warning.... give more precision on information....

ok all i know is that 2 times after playing an online multiplayer game there were norton internet security alerts coming from my own router's ip address, and to make sure i use the visual tracking system and it was indeed on my own computer. it said it was typical of an port scan attack. Thats all i can give u. I wuz just wondering wut the hell was the point.

Just to calm you down, my firewall also have intercepted a port attack and so notified me. It was just to let me know that the FW was doing its job and deserved a raise in pay!
