thanks, now I know why message kept being removed - doh!

I've had varius virus over the last week, Bagle, Trogan in abundance - managed to sort out (mainly with advice from here). Tonight another Trogan hit managed to rid with AVG.6 (and Stinger & Adware just for good measure). All gone except this shortcut on the desk top, picture of becoming lady saying Click Me!!

Ive deleted then deleted in recycle but the pesky minx is still there on reboot.

Any suggestions?

Can you right click on the icon and go to properties ? In propeties click on Find Target, locate the program and delete it. Mostly its a dialer program.

Also check AddRemove for the program if possible.
