I don't know where to start. I keep getting porn links in my favorites folder. I download ed hijack this.That worked for a long time,now everytime I logoff the computer and log back on the porn links are back in my favorites. I think the svchost files on my pc are infected I downloaded this new program that will quarantine the different processes on startup. so I quarantine svchost and my pc shuts down a dialog pops up saying "by the authority of nt/network security this computer is shutting down" and this it counts down from 50 to 0 and reboots. Please help!

first, take all your processes back out of quarantine (if you can). then do the following: CWShredder Download, Unzip, Run, “Fix” - SpyBot S&D Download, Install, Update, Run - Ad-Aware 6 Download, Install, Update, Run - good luck! AOSCLAY

Sorry, let me clarify... The porn links have nothing to do with Blaster. They are a separate problem (hence, Response #1) Your PC automatically shutting down is reminiscent of the Blaser Worm (which we all know and love) which still hits the odd unpatched system every now and then. But this could just as well be the result of some "over enthusiastic" tampering with your processes. AOSCLAY
