Guys, Can anyone help here? I have a really irritating file that keeps coming back on my pc even if i delete it!!! It's called 'Teen Seks Movie' I've installed Spyware S&D, ad-aware and spyblaster but it still comes back - i'm sure this s--- of a file is lurking somewhere in my registry but i don't know where it could be...it seems to be affecting my internet connection - since it appeared on my system, i get cut off - i'm wondering if it is maybe dialing another number - like some sort of sex dialer - if anyone has any info that would be much appreciated Thanks

Damian Ad-aware is a great program but needs tweaking for it to be most affective. After installing latest updates to ad-aware, restart the program and set up the the following: In main ad-aware window click the gear icon at top Click scanning at left Check all you can in there Click tweak at left Expand scanning engine Make sure "unload recognized processes during scanning" is checked Expand cleaning engine Have checked "let windows remove files in use at next reboot" Click proceed to save settings Click start Check "use custom scanning options" and "activate in-depth scan" Disable antivirus, close all other running programs, go offline, click next in ad-aware to start the scan When done select all to remove Reboot If that does not remove it download HijackThis. Save the download to its own folder. Unzip and run its scan. The scan button changes to save log button Save the log to same folder. It will pop up in notepad Hit ctrl+a to select all the text, right click, select copy, right click here, select paste. Don't fix anything yet in hijack....most of what you see is safe or even essential. _______________________________________ I never give up! Windows Update

Hello, You are right, AdAware detects very well what we call "cookies spywares", but often you have a variant as well active into your "cookie floder", for exemple: cgi.bin and as.cgi.bin, which makes impossible to rid off that "b....." I suggest you download and install as well this program freeware as well: SpywareBlaster 2.61 this program needs to be updated as soon as you installed it, but will protect you against 1180 spam's cookies even before they get into your system.... AdAware and SpywareBlaster work's perfectly together......

I have the same problem, have no clue how it got there because I am very careful with this s---e, but anyway. Tried all of the above but no joy at all It sits everywhere, it makes a file "runit" in the root of my c-drive, it makes a shortcut "Teen Seks Movies" on my desktop ( how embarassing) and it adds a shortcut with the same name to my Favorites I used HijackThis and found another reference to these files called "startit", removed it with HijackThis, but all came back after a reboot Based upon this, I did a search in my registry (run regedit, searchstring startit) and found entries with startit, runit and teen. I removed all them by just deleting them "hard" in the registry THAT DIDN'T WORK EITHER, THEY KEEP COMING BACK Any ponters would be much appreciated
