pple assume WAY 2much!! I have owned about every exspensive anti-virus software u can think of... point blank ad aware is jsut as effective. and if u can't afford or can't crack a prescription 4 norton or watever, use the free ad aware, just dont have full time protection so if your not a safe user on the web u gotta scan alot more than most ppl. I have had to use ad aware to remove stuff that NOTHING else would remove... its not a pop-up blocker, lol ppl are stupid... y do u think they are always top 2 or 3 virus removal award winners every year. read a magazine or go to an expo, or hell just try it!! ppl think because they make a free program that it isn't good. it just dont have full time protection like the pro version does, but it still has ad watch and ALL the virus definitions as pro! Don't let ppl tell you any different, look no antivirsu is perfect, but for a free program ad aware basic is f-n awsome... I still have it just incase....

I'm not mad, I just read all these posts and ppl ask about ad aware and when someone answers it always seems like they hate on the product and it could very well be the answer to many problems ppl are having. I mean yeah I can afford a virus program and I am on many beta teams as well, so I luck out there, but not everyone can... It just bothers me to see someone in need get turned away from a really good product because some ppl tell them to stay away from it. That or ppl assume its adware instead of ad aware ya know?

I just ran a scan with Ad A Ware. It only found 1 problem. I then ran Super Antispyware and it found 43. Now what is best?

Just because the OP does not come back in 3 or 4 days to reply, does not mean he will not come back and reply.
