Solved Please help w/ the avg antivirus sceurity protection

Specs: Windows 7
I installed my avg antivirus security protection on my Toshiba Satellite L455 laptop on November 7,2015 & expires on November 7,2016 it was working fine until now I uninstall and reinstalled & there's no active components going on , I do have the same antivirus security protection on my desktop computer it's working fine I just can't understand y my antivirus is not working on my laptop I tried to figure it out for the last 2 days but no but it's working on my desktop.have no luck can anybody help me with this Thanks!!!..

When you uninstalled and reinstalled it did you re-enter the activation licence code? Go to help and Activate and enter the licence key. This will activate all compoenets if the key is accepted.

if you have forgotton your licence key go here

Otherwise you will have to contact AVG with proof of purchase and they will be able to help you

Yes I did re-enter the license code when I reinstalled the avg virus protection.

in this instance you can try this

In control panel go to 'programs and features'
Look for AVG in the list
Click 'Uninstall\change'
Then when the AVG window appears click on 'Repair'

This should repair the install of AVG and hopefully reactivate the components

if that fails then i would recommend using the 'AVG Remover' to completely remove AVG from your system and then reinstall it
