Ican't get rid of searchcentrix as my search engine. I am not sure how it event got on to my computer.

Browers hijacker. Frist run CWshredder.exe . Just Open it and close all other windows including Internet Explorer and run the program and let it check and clean your system. Reboot system. Then Download and install AD-Aware_v6, install, update and run it and delete everything it finds. Do a Custom scan and enable all searches you can the first two times you run it. (Reboot after each run.)

Spent a little time on this one and found the fix. Here's what you'll need to do: 1. Go to www.shopnav.com, on there website click on 'Uninstall Now'. This will download a program to remove SearchCentrix as your search engine. 2. Go to the search icon in Internet Explorer, click on it, a window to the left opens up, click custom, another window opens up. Now click Autosearch settings at the bottom of this window. Choose the Server you want and change the 'When searching' to Just display results in the main window.

I've also had this problem and tried all the above, to no avail. It keeps coming back. When I went to www.shopnav and ran the uninstall, I received the following message: Could not copy file(s). (#4, Line 16) Any ideas?
