PIRATES BAY toolbar....kill it!

Specs: Windows XP, Q6600//2GB
I just noticed a new toolbar on my computer named PIRATES BAY...and I can't find any normal way to remove it. I've seen comments it is a malware program, and others that just describe it as a pain in the butt that's hard to dump.

Anyone know how to get rid of it? It can't be had in ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS, nor does it offer a legit way to get rid of it itself.

Sorry, how selfish of me. I'm using Firefox, so go to TOOLS, then select ADD ONS and select and delete from there. Very simple, but initially hard to find as I was inexperienced with FIREFOX.

at it's most innocuous, malware IS

"a pain in the butt that's hard to dump"

just because it doesn't steal your identity doesn't mean it's not malware. just look at AOL...
