Allrighty then, I've had this gateway labtop for a few years, and got it from my uncle. Well, something I just discovered when I removed the user and HDD passwords, was someone setup a Supervisor. This locks me out from even BOOTING, so I can't even get into the OS to use common kill programs. As well, I can't enter the CMOS/BIOS to put the old ones back in, so that I can atleast boot. I know normally the easiest solution is to pull the CMOS battery, or to move the jumpers, well this is a labtop. I can't find the CMOS battery, nor do I think it even uses jumpers. (Because of hte saving on space labtops do). Does anyone know any PhoenixBIOS 4.0 backdoor passwords, so I can atleast get in, and clear it all out? Or, can they tell me exactly where the CMOS Battery is on:
Model: Gateway DS SOLO 1450 LS

I can't find it in any of the documentation, and gateway being themselves, want me to pay shipping there, back, and labor fees to find it or enter a password >.> THis isnt' a big thing, I can probably get it fixed at the local shop saving $$ but I'd prefer to do it for free if I can. heh

Anyone know?
