I cannot get this little bugger off of my computer - it tries to mimic Norton (shield and all) and pop up messages constantly tell me to buy this software to combat one suspicious trojan after another (that have apparently infected my computer). Please tell me how to get rid of Personal Antivirus! Thank you!

Hi gcpmike,
actually it's up to you, either you'll remove it manually or with reliable anti-spyware application. I now for sure that Spyware Doctor removes this parasite. You may also use this removal guide: http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-per... and remove it manually. Automatic removal tool is included, just in case you won't be able to remove it manually.

The most effective way is to use malwarebytes, don't use spyware doctor because you must pay money for it to help you remove personal antivirus. I tried it just now and the spywarevoid and 2-spyware manual removal won't work.
