Permanent Damage?

Hey guys, for some time my computer was shutting down instantaniously for no apparent reason, I came to the conclusion that it was probably a virus and thought my computer could do witha wipe anyway, so I attempted to re-format the computer. Long story short, I later found out it was my computer over-heating and now instead of even giving me the chance to boot it just shuts down after about 10 seconds. Has all the miss-use permanently damaged my system? I can't think of any reason for the shutting down become more frequent.

You need to have the Hardware problem repaired before you do anything. If you don't feel comfortable testing the system devices, take it to a computer shop.

Listen to Jennifer and stop using the computer. The more sudden shutdown you have the greater the chances Windows and your date files on the hard drive will be corrupted beyond repair.
