Hello

I have a big problem with my computer. It shut off randomly...just like u unplug it. I have done Full system restore a couple times but still the problem remains. This mostly happens when i play videos, play games and many other times but always after 5 minutes of watching the video or whatever. As long as i don't do anything major with my pc it will run normal for a decent period of time. Right now i have no idea if i have a virus or its a technical problem. I have tried many anti viruses even online ones but always after 5 mins of virus scanning it shuts my pc off.
Also when it shuts off its hard to get it back running again because as soon as it loads (after pc shut off) it will shut down again and again for couple of times then will run normaly again. Well i have no idea what to do. Pleas HElp and recommend something....Thank U.

I would first check all fans and
temperatures...It appears to be
overheating.

Ok now am getting something. After my pc shuts off this comes up.(by the way the problem got worse when desktop is in the processor of loading it shuts off every time now)
Anyways here what it says BIG BLUE screen.
------BIG BLUE SCREEN-
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

A process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly exited or been terminated.

If this is first time you've seen(not first time for me) this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or soft ware manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F* to select advance Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode.

Technical Information:
*** STOP: 0x000000F4 (0x00000003,0xFFA80A98,0x805F0a5C)

Beginning dump of physical memory
Physical memory dump Complete.
Contact your system administrator or technical support group for further assistance.

THIS IS WORD FOR WORD WHAT IT SAID.

I have not installed any new hardware or software so id ont think thats it. HELP

This may work for you:
Boot to the Recovery Console and run chkdsk /r
This process is extremely time consuming, allow it to run until completion.

Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks
