You could download ATF Cleaner and Super Anti-Spyware
Boot to Safe mode (Tap the F8 key While booting up)And run the ATF/Super programs and also Your AV in Safe Mode
All scans should be done in safe mode

Nothing is using resources..
Just like in safe mode, the cpu usage is low.
But the HDD just keep flashing and although it displays a very low cpu usage, it's ver lag.

Now downloading the ATF and Super anti spyware thingy.

Will update later.

Thx for replying so fast though.

Well, that's one workaround (although a bit dire)

In normal mode, you should be able to determine from Task Manager just what process is using the most CPU cycles, as something must be active in order to be accessing the drive

I'm not one of those who think Bill Gates is the devil. I simply suspect that if Microsoft ever met up with the devil, it wouldn't need an interpreter.

Read my post above.
I stated that the task manager had been acting normal. Nothing is using alot of cpu. But hdd just keep flashing and lag like hell although the cpu usage is like 6%.

I discovered that nod32 may be the cause.

I found a few files in the temp folder, there are some nod32 temp files i assume, each of them is more than 1gb.

After deleting them and uninstalling nod32, seems that everything is cured... seems..

If anything happen again i'll post again.

PC damn slow.
