Hi all, yesterday i did the Windows update as The Kid advised us,but today i lost all my passwords and users names.Could that be related? I don't recall doing anything else that could erase them and my machine seems clean.Luckily i make double backup from my passwords.

Hello Tamtam, No reason to believe your password has been erased just performing a windows update. You can try to recover them, by reinstalling them from your control panel, with program "password" you have to type the "old" password and two times the "new" one... It will reboot them "new" password can be the old one as you had before..... You can access to your computer using the "no-save mode" which bring you to your computer, you just press "Ctrl" button when you reboot your computer, if "Ctrl" don't work, try "F8".... Good luck....

Hi tamtam and Imp; that's a strange one... I installed the update yesterday, and have encountered no problems yet. It will be interesting to see what happens. How's everything in Belgium, tamtam?? ~Tommyo
