parite.b removal on win98 system

Specs: Windows 98, AMD K6 w/248MB RAM
xoftspy detects a file mscoree.dll in a directory C:\window\temp\IXP000.TMP thah is flagged as a Parite.b infection. Where can I get removal instructions and/or program to make sure I am not infected? I have downloaded AVG's rmparite.exe, rmparite.nt, and rmparite.dos files, but when I run the rmparite.exe, I get an error starting program "the rmparite.exe is linked to missing export NTDLL.DLL:NtClose" with another error window that says "a device attached to the system is not functioning". Device Manager does not show any non-functioning devices.

The AVG utilities you mentioned are not compatible with Win98. The error message makes this clear.
You will need to obtain an antivirus product that is compatible. Most are not.
