You turn "system restore" off by selecting Properties of My Computer, use the "System Restore" tab and turn it off. You must restart the computer to clean out the "restore" files. You can now scan with AVG to see if your system is clean. Many times it is a good idea to use AVG's scan while in the "safe mode"(usually you tap the F8 key during startup, some computers use F2 or another F key) to ensure he files are not being "used". Panda's on-line scan and Trend Micro's "housecall" are two of the best on-line scans there are. Take care and all the best!

Summary: Has anyone used Panda Antivirus? I was thinking about going to Panda from Norton since Norton takes up a lot of my system resources to run? Any information would help. Thank you ...
