Pack.Generic.200 Virus

hey, just a few mins ago i recently had my computer attacked . . turns out it's a virus called Pack.generic.200 that my Norton Symatec 2008 keeps detecting but is unable to remove it . . I'm sort of new to these kind of things so any help would be highly appreciated.

OH and the virus is located in the global/systemroot/system 32 file and a browser cache.
