✔ Best Answer
Just for starters download this freebie (green icon top right of webpage), install it, then run the quick scan:
http://www.filehippo.com/download_m...

My hope is that it might at least stop it doing so temporarily but almost certainly more attention will be necessary. Please keep the log it produces.

Let us know what Anti-Virus you are using and whether you have run a scan.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

On another note it would be worth contacting people in your address book to notify them that you accendentally infected them. It might also not be a bad choice until the email problem is resolved to disable your outgoing email.

If marking #1 Best Answer means it has done the trick please be guarded.

Keep a very close eye on how your computer behaves because it might not have eliminated all traces. It just makes it easier to do so if necessary and gets shot of the annoying symptoms.

You might be lucky but shout back with the MWB log if you have any doubts and I'll seek the assistance of another helper who is better versed on thorough computer cleaning.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
