Outlook Contacts Messed Up ?Virus?

OK. I manage about 50 users, 12 over a VPN connection. Various Windows OS, from Win98SE to XP Pro SP1. All run Norton Corporate updated 4 times a day. The problem is that 2 users (1 XP, 1 Win98 - both in different office locations) have both reported that their outlook contacts have gotten mixed up. Last names have been randomly changed. Some have their last names switched with the next contact. Very bizzare. I have scanned the computers, no viruses found. I have scanned and removed the very little adware on the computers. Any Ideas ??
