Hello,

Follow the below steps to close port 139 (not 135):

1. Determine which of your network devices connects you to the internet. If you have DSL/Cable this is most likely an ethernet adapter. If you connect via dial-up, this is most likely a modem.

2. Click "Start", go to "Settings", then choose / go to "Network and Dial-up Connections".

3. Right click (draw context menu) on the network device which connects you to the internet. Choose "Properties".

4. Go to the tab titled "Networking".

5. Locate and Un-Check both "Client for Microsoft Networks" and "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks".

6. Click (press) the "OK" button.

Best regards,

Mike
