Ok , it seems to be that I have troubles running online virus scans like Symantec , Panda Active
With Symantec is says that active x controls and scripting are not enabled , I enable them or put the security level on medium but this still does not fix the problem.
With Panda Active , it never finishes installing.
I have spybot search and destory , spyware blaster and adaware (old version) and pc-cillin 2002 , all are updated.

Have you tried HouseCall? http://housecall.trendmicro.com
It may take a while to load but it does a good scan.Check firewall, your onboard A/V, etc???

Your not alone. I'm an IT Tech and I use online scans all the time. Symantec if it works doesn't always find the problems. Panda's scanner only installs occaisonally but when it does it doesn't always start.
House call seems pretty good but that won't always work. The only one that always works in Bitdefender.
