NTFS lock out

OS: Win XP Home SP1
CPU/Ram: P2.8GHz Ht /512

Ok guys I was changing config settings on a certain folder(right click properties>security) containing data and I think or Im sure Ive just locked myself out of the folder,Im the Admin so I shouldnt have any problem access anything but I cant get in. is there anyway either maybe through safe mode or cmd prompt I can recover data in here or get access to it

It's called "Take Ownership"

Right Click the folder, go through Properties\Security\Advanced\Owner

Highlight your signon in the list and put a check mark in "Replace owner on subcontainers and objects"

Click OK
