For about a week now I've encountered a virus/trojan that has messed up my computer big time, but from looking at posts online i've been able to narrow it down to this one last piece that redirects me to different pages such as "greatfeedmill" and it it getting very tiresome. The file i cannot delete is called "nsrbgxod.bak" and it comes back even after I reboot. I've tried running a bunch of different programs and no luck, is there anything anyone knows that i can do to get rid of the rediculous curse??

I have seen many spyware posts regarding redirecting - Malwarebytes and other spyware removal programs haven't been working. I have had the same problem with spyware called "antivirus pro" or "antivirus system pro", which, when "removed" leaves behind a file called nsrbgxod.bak, which simply repopulates your computer with the virus. After trying many types of spyware, etc., I went to the Microsoft website - thought I'd try their "Microsoft Security Essentials" (free) and "Safety Scan for Windows Vista". In short, they worked great and the spyware is removed!
