I just got a 512k cable modem, but for some reason Norton Personal Firewall (which I've just installed) is completely preventing me from viewing any streaming Windows Media Player files, no matter what connection speed I choose. I've tried demanding that NPF allow WMP full access to the internet and dumping loads of video hosting websites into my "trusted" zone, but all that happens when I try and view a streaming WMP file is that the WMP logo comes up (static, not animated as usual), then the viewing window goes black and my computer makes the old dial-up "disconnect" noise. Nothing else happens. My level of computer knowledge is best described as "really rubbish". Please help me!
