notepad.exe a trojan?

hello guyz. i really need to know what this is. i found several files and their program description is notepad.exe. i look it up and it was said that there's a trojan with a variant name "notepad.exe". i haven't remove it yet coz i'm worried that some might be system files and i don't know what to do if i accidently remove it. help me guyz. here are the filenames= ivffile, batfile, channelfile, cmdfile, jsefile, jsfile, regfile, bvefile, bvsfile, vsconfigfile, whsfile, wsffile, dqyfile, dqyfile again, iqyfile, oqryfile,rqyfile,txtfile, zapfile, inifile, iniffile. those were the files. what shall i do?

Where are these files and what operating system do you have? Did you find them in the registry? Don't start deleting anything from the registry just because you don't recognize it unless you want to muck up your system. Notepad.exe is a Microsoft program found in your Windows folder.

Here is a site where you can check manually if you have Notepad.exe virus!. As advised thought, dont delete anything in Regedit unless you know what your doing!

But you can look if you have such an entry in Registry anyway!
