Name: Martin Crandall
I found an entry in my Program Files with the name of NOS.
After a bit of research I've discovered it's part of Adobe's download manager, so far so good.
Then comes the rest of the story!
NOS comes with getFAST. getFAST has nearly 2 dozen registry entries and does little more than bring you advertising.
Deleting NOS tends to speed up IE and searching for an deleting getFAST registry entries cuts IE inialization tremendously.
