Im having a problem my norton scanner first detected a download.trojan virus last week. Ever since then when i run a manual scan or a custom scan when Scanning the C: drive it only scans the memory. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Norton but it still will not scan my whole C: drive...... any suggestions?

Which trojan? There are many that will prevent your AV from working properly. Norton may have recognized it but not been able to remove it.
If you know the name, you might be able to find a removal tool, maybe even on symantec.com.
Check the Wilders' download page for an anti-trojan scanner. Many have free trials. Make sure you update it before running.

It just said download.trojan i didnt catch the exact name, and i cant find it again because it will not scan the C: drive

Try one or more of the anti-trojans available at wilder's (link in above post).
It might be better to download it to another pc (and the updates if possible) and burn it to a disc. You can then start your possibly-infected machine in safemode and install and run the anti-trojan from safemode.

I ran the Cleaner off that website u gave me and it found 3 trojans, but my AV still will not scan the C: drive

Either NAV (norton anti virus) was damaged (which is most likely the case) or a windows file was damaged.
NAV gets deep in your system. You can not just uninstall and reinstall. Many settings will still be in the registry (inclusing one that may tell it not to scan c).
Go to Symantec and download the NAV removal tool. Run it from safemode to completely remove Norton. Reinstall NAV in safemode.
If Norton will scan c:, go ahead and download the updates, you are set.
If not, there may be some windows file(s) that was damaged by the trojan. A repair of XP should fix that.
If you post the names of the trojans, someone here might be able to tell you exactly what was changed and how to fix it.
