norton program alert - netbios

i have just installed a wireless router, which i connect via an ethernet cable. after i installed this norton keeps coming up with a program alert all the time saying "system is attempting to access another system using netbios file and print sharing" its asking me whether to allow or block it from the internet. i never got this with my adsl usb modem its only happening with my new router. what does it mean and what should i do. i have unchecked the file and print sharing under my network conection.
