Hi
Over the last few days I ve noticed that Norton has been scanning my outgoing mail. The problem I have is that I have not sent an email since I noticed that this was happening, but I get constant pop ups from norton scanning outgoing mail from my connection and further mail that it has blocked to addresses I have no knowledge of whatsoever
Iam also running Webroot spysweeper and have done full sweeps but no virus or adware found. I ve tried to turn this off but Norton wont let me and it's starting to get on my nerves.
Does anybody know what my problem is or if they are having the same issues. please advise.

Matt, Do you by chance maybe have some e-mails in your outbox that you may have never actually sent. That indeed is strange.

What version of Norton do you have?

The only time I have seen this is when a Email Spaming virus was on the computer. I use a 100% manual old firewall so when the virues trys to send you can ID it. Geting up a CMD dos window and do a "netstat -an" and seeing what ports are open sometimes helps.
