Norton Internet Security 2004

Hi everyone,
I have NIS 2004 on my XP home and I keep getting an annoying popup message that states, "a remote system is attempting to access your computer"
It gives me the option to block, and not to ask the question again but they're various IP addresses so it keeps popping up. It's ANNOYING the HELL out of me to say the least.
I know it's not a virus or anything of that sort as I've ran live updates, virus scanned, etc. I'd just like NIS to block them automatically and leave me the hell alone.
There must be some sort of configuration setup in NIS to stop these alerts coming through and to still do its job. Has anyone had these problems before and does anyone know how to save my sanity?
Spike, you should be able to get to it by using Personal Firewal>Configure>Custom Level>uncheck alert when unused ports are accessed. You could also try setting the security level to high if it is set at Med(Moderate). HTH
