Hello everyone,
I'm facing a problem with newly installed NAV 2003, after i uninstalled the 2003 i already had because of this problem..the problem is even when i turn auto-protect on through the settings it keeps it off..and email scanning has an "error" sign next to it i have no idea why..and when i try to liveupdate it updates most stuff..but for some updates (i don't know which ones because it says this message after it tries to "confirm subscription status")..it says "liveupdate was unable to connect to the server and confirm ur subscription status. You may not be able to download updates for subscriptions that appear to have expired" ...although my subscription doesn't expire for a long time...and my virus updates are newly updated now but this is a problem..so please help me

Did you use the Symantec removal tool to get rid of all traces of the NAV2003 that was having problems before you did this installtion(rnav.2003 available at http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/nav.nsf/docid/2001092114452606)? Do you have liveupdate 2.5 or better yet 2.6 installed(available at the Symantec downloads area)?
