I installed norton on my machine but then auto protect has disabled itself. I can't seem to be able to re-enable it. Is there a way out Windows xp prof, pentium 4.
What version of Norton are we talking about here? Is this a stand alone product such as NAV 2003/2004 or NIS "Norton Internet Security" suite? Need a lot more information. Your problem can caused by a number of things.

I had a similar problem with NAV2003. What I did was I had to let NAV start at the start up from the msconfig settings. I could not manually start it for some reason.
