I'm having big problems at step 20 and 21. When i click next in 20 the program crashes!! I don't seem to have any problems during installation. Can anyone help? is it virus related?

did you try skipping registration. "activate your product now but skip registration" (step 17) and if that fails skip activation for now and run it as trialware for 2 weeks, that worked for me. I installed nav 2004 on one pc and 2005 on another and I don't remember seeing all of that. but I installed it as a trial first and then input the activation key on the last day of the trial

Yeah i tried skipping the activation but when i try and open Norton it crashes badly. This is the second time i'm installing it as the first time the program failed. I think i have a problem actually connecting to the server to allow activation.

if you have a problem activating from the server then you can activate it over the phone. Please keep us updated so we know if we helped you or not.

Apparently this is a big problem. when you reach the "click next to activate" screen the program crashes. even if you try n activate by phone the same thing happens. it could be that i have a virus.
