Well I recently heard about NOD32, so I'm trying it out. I've been reading some reviews and things and heard that it's weak against trojans but great for just viruses. I'm more worried about trojans (as they are more common) than viruses. Anyone have any info about this?

who said trojans are more common than viruses? There are many more viruses than trojans.

This is supposed to be the best anti-trojan tool

Even their web page says there are more viruses than tojans.

hi cykage,
while nod32 seems to be the best a-v for eliminating virii, it does not have an anti-trojan engine. nod32 is not week against trojans as their virus definition list will show you, its just that there are few a-v's that have anti-trojan engines, kapersky labs anti-virus is the only one i know about that has an a-t engine. it is also rated a 5 star in the wilders anti-virus list.
all the best,
murve

actually nod32 detects trojans its just under in depth scan......nod32 uses standard heus scan cause its faster for detection of trojans........for trojan infections use in depth scan anylasis

most users of nod32 should know this..but if not i put a post for nod32 users.
goodluck and if u have a trojan infection always use deep scan options in setup and test all file ext. its slower scan but it scan every single file.

goodluck

Yeah, I've been using KAV for quite some time... I think I'll continue to use it.
