I purchased an Internet Security 2012 Performance Pack, when I went to activate it there was no Product Key sticker on leaflet!

Refer back to wherever you bought it from. Unfortunately, just having a bare case is not enough to convince Norton, or anyone else, that you actually bought a sealed pack.

You didn't say what name it has - do you mean Norton Internet Security, then why didn't you say so?

The serial number isn't printed on the leaflet. It's usually on a separate piece of card inside the box. I usually buy NIS online so I'm not sure about how they do it now with retail boxed versions. Try installing it and then click "Register" or "Activate", but I'm just guessing.
