No Internet!?

Hi i have a sony vaio note book with xp home edition and recently got a virus which made my internet stop working, and all i could see was my desktop so i pressed CTRL+ALT+DELETE and made a new task called explorer.exe everything was running really laggy then all my stuff started appearing but soon after i couldnt open anything or else it would say it cant open the file so i used my skills to reinstall AVG and it scanned my computer and deleted the virus but my internet still ain't working if you can help email jackdaun@gmail.com or SamLockhart2000@hotmail.com

Reply:

1. When scanning your PC for viruses, first update the antivirus software.
2. Disconnect that PC from the internet, so that a running virus can not redownload something during you're trying to clean your PC.
3. If nothing of this will work, download an Antivirus Rescue System CD (for free), burn it to CD, boot your PC with this CD, update the antivirus software on that CD (it's running in RAM) and scan you PC.
