Ok,istaled some small games,al was ok..till i rebooted the computer,now after the boot screen..i get just the desktop beckround..no icons,no taskbar...nothing...so i reboted again..booted the system with an cd with an AV..scaned the system and forund a virus ("Btontok.a" was i thibk) deleted all the files infected..rebooted the PC again in Win..all the same..the taskbar apears for a second or so..and is gone,..went online..removed all the reg keys...(offline) scaned the system ..nothing (kaspersky,adware se,spyboot S&D,registry mechanic,system mechanic,..done their repairs..)..i can operate the PC from Task Manager...and everything is OK..from there..but still no desktop,replaced the explorer.exe with another one..nothing, (btw only 1 explorer.exe in the root c:Windows) typed in the Task manager explorer...it starts ..for e second..and kills again...restore not possibile,safe mode -same,started -tryed kellys reg paches,..so i will reinstall...but just wondering...what is going on...obwiously explorer.exe..is ok..since it shows the taskbar,ok for a second or 2 maybe,but works...is it possibile that another legal process was modified due infection,so that kills the explorer on staring it..or an reg key that points to that...also..is it possibile that an rempte desktop option is set to the registry...simulating an remote desktop activitu..i thing on remote desktop activation..you loose the desktop...anything would be apriciated... thanks...

Download CleanX-II.exe from this link http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/CleanX-II.exe then run it and post the log it produces.
