No boot in xp/notebook

Believe I got a virus. Won't boot except to a black screen that says, Press ctrl,alt, delete, and then nothing. No floppy drive, won't boot to Windows XP installation cd either. Any ideas?

can you get into the bios? Check out your Laptop name and google for keys to get into the bios to see if your laptop is set to boot from CD. Once you get into bios and set up cd, you can try a repair install with your CD: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/...
