Just curious...

I have Norton Internet Security 2002. My "subscription service" expires next March. What happens then? Will the program not run? Will the live update not work? Will I be able to get av updates, but not program updates? or neither? What exactly happens?

When your sub expires, the program will work as normal, BUT you will NOT be able to use the LIVE UPDATE feature to connect to get the new updated definitions.
Pretty worthless software about 2 weeks after it expires.

I've noticed you can download an .exe from the norton site up update the virus files. Will that refuse to install if the subscription's up?

It will show that it is "beginning" to download the new updated definitions, then after 1 second or so, it will STOP and say something like You need to renew your sub and then it provides a link to pay them for it.
Up to date, current antivirus definitions
are VERY IMPORTANT and I would NOT get on the Web without it.
Pay the cost and renew.
