I have in my Task Manager a file called "NILaunch.exe". I don't know what this file does and whether I need it. A search on the net didn't give any info. Can someone tell me more about this file?

Locate the file, right click on it and choose 'properties'. See if the info shows what program it is associated with.

I tried right-clicking on the file and found there was no info listed. This file comes from Net-It-Now software "Intranet Publishing Solution". I had a heck of a time tracking it down today! I found it running in Task Manager Processes, searched on the internet and found nothing except your comment and one or two others (that went nowhere). I had already uninstalled it some time ago and forgot about it until this. If you're using this program of course, you'll want to leave the files alone... but if you want to get rid of it you can (1) delete the file folder from "c:\program files\Net-It Now! Starter Edition" (2) Look at your printers and you'll probably see a "Net-It" printer you'll want to remove. (3) It's all through the registry so you'll want to regedit and look for "Net-It" and "Nilaunch" and remove references to it.
