I just received the virus on Monday and I cannot identify or remove it. First, I ran a system restore, which gave me back internet capability> However once I ran it, it no longer gives me the option of running it again (to go even further back). The bug has turned off my norton/symantec antivirus corp edition, which I cannot open, or run a scan even in safe mode. It gives me a microsoft error message and shuts down. I cannot even remove the Norton program to renistall it. All word operations to open docmuents, excel speasheets or PDF's are disabled...it prompts me that it's reinstalling windows 2003 and then stops. I've downloaded and run adaware 2007, spybot (which found and removed virus's), avg (found and removed viruses), and rogue remover. However, Norton still won't run...and I cannot open any word docs, excel...etc.., so the virus must still be there. Is there any hope? Or do I need to wipe the hard drive and start from scratch? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

u can download winpatrol which is free and see what is running on ur PC and remove it. Also run this free online scan: http://www.spywareinfo.com/xscan.php and remove all it finds Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
