I have version 2.14 and I see the new one is 2.15, but when I click check for updates it says I have the latest version running...why is that?

The check for updates for the stand-alone has never worked for me. I just search Google from time to time and download a replacement file.

Maybe it only works when part of their pay for package (unless anyone else says differently).

I have also found that the updater has a tendency to state that you have the latest when it's not. It has something to do with the company not wanting everyone to be downloading at the same time and overwhelming their server systems. Just go to Intermute and download the latest version at least once a month. SpySweeper from Webroot does the same thing. Being a subscriber, I just go to WebRoot Support once a month, and request a copy to be sent to me. This usually gets me the update that the Request for Update only says I'm up to date! Usually does not update a version 3.5 (139) to the build (199). Only a 3.5 to the new 4.0.
