New update for the program very well known now of the research and eradication of specific trojan's betrayals. Now the program perform a scan as well into hiden files in case some trojan's would be programed to corrupt theses files....
Version 6.1.5 - 4th January 2004
---
a) Modified the Directory selection routine in the Drive/Directory Scanning screen so that hidden/system files can be selected for scanning.b) Added a routine to remove the registry keys created by Adware.Mpgcom/Narat.
Version 6.1.4 - 20th December 2003
-----
a) Added routines to warn the user if particular antivirus programs are located in memory, when running a Trojan Remover scan. Some antivirus programs prevent Trojan Remover from accessing any file that the antivirus program itself already detects as malicious. These warnings can be disabled if they are not required.b) Added routines to rename and thus disable the Antivirus process killer, and proxy server, dropped with Spy.Tofger.
Version 6.1.3 - 18th November 2003
-----
a) Added routines to rename the additional files dropped by Worm/Mimail.b) Added a routine to rename and thus disable the DLL injector dropped by the Remote Access Trojan Fearless Lite.
c) Added routines to rename and thus disable the additional files dropped by the Remote Access Trojan Rewind 1.2.
-------------
2. Known Issues/Conflicts
-------------------------
(1) You should temporarily disable any memory-resident virus scanner (such as Nortons Active Monitor, AVP Monitor, McAfee System Scan etc) before running scans with Trojan Remover. When Trojan Remover opens a file to scan it, if another antivirus program is running it could conflict with Trojan Remover. You can re-enable your standard antivirus scan after Trojan Remover has completed its own scan.(2) When running cpu-intensive background programs such as Seti@home and the United Devices distributed computing project, Trojan Remover's scan speed can be substantially degraded. You should consider temporarily disabling such programs before running a scan.
