New Spybot's resident shield

There is some sort of resident shield in the new most excellent Spybot. Unfortunately it gets installed at the end of the starting process, inside the start bar and makes the general starting a little too slow. Its it possible to take it off from there without spoiling its function?
Summary: I just got my new updates from Spybot S&D dated for today 11/11/05. Go get them. Also found 2 marketing cookies. Good job Spybot!! I'm not ignorant, I just need more learning! ...
