Not on mine (V6). Patch day are traditionally the second tuesday of the month. How come you're still using v4?

A simple/plain explanation is
v5 - v6 - v4 - v3 -ect.

V is/= Version. So, version5, version6, ect. ;-) Versions of the update software. As said, that's a plain/short one :-)

No. V6 is limited to PCs running Windows 2000, 2003 Server and XP. The default interface for V6 is Microsoft Update. If you don't have XP Office, you can opt-out of Microsoft Update and use only Windows Update V6. Be aware that if you switch back to Microsoft Update, you will have to accept Active-X signature file.

Thanks XPUser. I'm using the V6 on my XP machine but V4 on my ME. I realise the difference as far as Office Updates being incorporated into V6 (bout time) and wondered if I should do the same on the ME which also has Office on it, but if it don't work for ME then so be it.....Should I have V5 or just stick to V4.
