New aim virus....Please help!

how come everytime someone gets an AIM or MSN virus they call it a new one? is it not the same thing floating around all over the place? or am I missing something?

You see, there are lots of so called AIM parasites. They have much in common, but often their payload and functions differ and therefore they are classified as different pests. HERE is a nice explanation of AIM parasites and why they differ ;].

above link did NOT fix my problem. Still gettin a million messaged just over and over from everyone on my buddy list. Ieven got a new SN hoping that wuld help. Can't install the windows aim fix because i use firefox not IE. HELPPPP please i cannot make the ims comin in wiht the virus link stop
