Comment:

I clicked on a link in my friend's away message that said "LOOK!!" then a link to an angelfire site.

Now I can put up my own away message but after a few minutes it changes to that. Or I won't even have one up and then I have the LOOK away message up all of a sudden. Also when that happens I get a popup ad that says to download something. If I say no, another thing says I have to click Yes to view the content of the site. I hit OK and it takes me back to the downloading I don't want. I do this a few times and I can close the window. When the window is open, I cannot right click on the toolbar at the bottom of my screen to close Internet Exporer. Also, ctrl+alt+del can't do anything because the Task Manager window closes in a few seconds.

The jayloden AIMFix hasn't been updated for this. PLEASE update it!!

Melissa

I just wanted to add a post to let everyone
know, this virus was added to the AIMFix
removal quite some time ago, so if you're
still looking for help with it, just head
over to my site http://jayloden.com/AIMFix.exe
and pick up the latest AIMFix and it should
take care of it. Manual removal steps are
at http://jayloden.com/BestFriends.htm

I have an AIM Virus that sounds like the one in reply #3. As soon as I sign on to AIM it puts up an away message that reads:

Still Friends
http://engagingphotos.com/friends.scr !?

The Jay Loden AIMFix doesn't get rid of it. Anyone know what to do?
