I have the same virus... Please help!
I clicked on a link on the away message of one of my friends, that said: "I made a new profile, click to check it out" and it had an angelfire address, and now I set my away message and when I come back it says "Oh F***" and has that address. I asked this friend of mine and she said that the way her friend got rid of it was to wipe their ENTIRE hard drive... I can't do that. Does anyone know how to get rid of it?

oh and plus when I press ctrl+alt+del the task manager comes up, but only stays up one second before closing. same with running msconfig...

if anyone can help I would appreciate it very much!!!!!

I have the same issues with the away message, the flickering ctr-alt-del task manager menu, and I am now unable to log into Windows while in Safe mode to run a virus scan. It rejects my password but doesn't on normal Windows log in page. Please help!

I also have this problem, and cannot figure out how to fix it. My REGEDIT and MSCONFIG both open for a split second and then close. When I go to safe mode they open normal, but I do not know what to look for. When I start up my AOL instant messenger is immediately brought up and says that a password must be entered to follow the AIM hyperlink. If I open AIM it automatically puts up an away message with: "OMFG http://www.angelfire.com/ar3/sunz/wedding.scr !" I cannot figure out what to do...please send your advise...I have windows XP home edition.

I pressed cntrl alt del too and the window stays up for a second then goes away. I havent clicked on any links on my friends profiles or anything i dont know whats going on. I am wondering if this is some new virus that just got unleashed and no one knows what to do. IF anyone figures out whats wrong please let us all know!!!
